A salon grand opening campaign should create awareness around a business that is ready to welcome guests. Confirm the opening date, operating capacity and customer journey before announcing a large promotion. If the date is uncertain, avoid making promises your team cannot yet support.

Days 30–21: confirm the foundations

Finalize the business name, address, phone, service menu and actual opening plan. Set up or complete eligible business profiles through their supported processes. Prepare the website, directions and a booking or inquiry method. Assign who will answer questions and approve public updates.

Days 20–11: prepare the announcement

Capture representative photographs, introduce the team with permission and explain the services. Prepare one clear opening message with the date, location and next step. If an offer is included, write the full terms and train staff before publishing it.

Days 10–1: test the guest experience

Walk through an inquiry, booking, arrival, service and checkout. Test the POS, receipts and support contacts. Update opening information if plans change. Keep advertising and appointment availability aligned so the campaign does not create demand the salon cannot serve.

Opening day: prioritize a dependable visit

Give staff clear roles for greeting, check-in, questions and checkout. Capture content only with permission and without disrupting customers. Record offer redemptions and common questions, but avoid making the event a complicated data-collection exercise.

After the opening

Review attendance, completed appointments, service capacity and customer feedback. Invite honest reviews through a neutral process without incentives. Correct any online information that confused guests and follow up through channels the business is permitted to use.

The goal is a strong beginning to an ongoing customer relationship. A crowded opening day is not enough if the booking process, service delivery or return-visit experience is unreliable.
